How It Works

  1. Choose dinners

    Say who eats, what must never be on the plate, what you would rather skip, and how much time a weeknight has. Simmerset proposes dinners; you keep, swap or lock them.

  2. Get the list

    One grocery list for the week, grouped by aisle, with quantities added up across dinners. Each line says which dinner needs it.

  3. Cook

    The cooking view shows the steps, the ingredients for each step and a timer where the recipe has one.

What Is Different

Everything here ships on September 30.

  • Hard exclusions stay hard.Allergies and diets are asked apart from dislikes and are never relaxed. A dislike moves a recipe down the ranking; an exclusion removes it.

  • Swap or lock without breaking the list.Replace one dinner, lock the ones you like, change the servings. The list follows, and locked dinners stay put.

  • Every item says which dinner needs it.The list is grouped by aisle, with quantities merged across dinners. Drop a meal and you know what to leave on the shelf.

  • Your own recipes too.Import a recipe from a URL or type one in. It joins the planner like any other dinner.

  • Your data leaves with you.Export everything as JSON whenever you like, and delete your account yourself.

  • Any store.There is no retailer account and no store to pick. You shop the list wherever you want.

  • Built by the Spoonacular team.Spoonacular has worked on food data and recipes since 2013. The planner runs on that work.
